In 1983, the Chinese artist Danhoo left his birthplace,Saigon, and immigrated to Paris. Danho^o beganworking for a well-known artists’ material supplyhouse. While delivering materials to artists, he seizedthe opportunity to learn and even began to assist themcreatively. He went on to assist Erro´, Robert Combasas well as Lee Ufan before devoting himself to his ownartistic career. Inspired by the great abstract expressionistJackson Pollock as well as the free flow of Qi(the vital energy), Danhoo uses the dripping technique,combined with other European influences. This first monograph about the artistexplores all aspects of Danhôo’s artistic path.
