Italo Rota is at the moment one of the most interesting architects of the european scene. After the late eighties lucky debuts in France with the project for the Louvre Richelieu wing of Louvre and the public spaces of Nantes, he returns to Italy and establishes a new phase rich and creative in productions: ranging from museums (coffee showroom in Miami, Milan and Moscow, exhibitions and fashion shows) to a series of new public buildings in Italy and India. The book deals mainly with the last fifteen years: the design of Rouen public spaces in Brescia, Verona and Palermo; the children's libraries in Anzola and Perugia; the Church of Rome; the casino in Lugano; a Hindu temple in Bombay and the project for the renewal of Milan Arengario.
