Bianca Cappello, an historian and jewellery critic, is a lecturer, coordinator and curator of conferences and seminars on the history of jewellery, an area of study completed by her publications on the topic. She curates exhibitions for museums and public bodies and is a curatorial consultant for museum collections. With Skira she has also published The History of Italian Costume Jewellery (2016), Il Gioiello nel Sistema Moda. Storia, Design, Produzione (2017) and Precious Paper. Paper Jewellery Design(2017). She lives in Milan.
