Over the last three decades, Wolski has deployed adiversity of non-representational vocabularies toinvestigate the idea of unification between the individualself and nature. While primarily a sculptor, Wolskiis concerned with the question of materiality, which heoften sees as a form of philosophical inquiry in and ofitself. Wolski’s practice often verges on the spiritual, althoughit maintains an active dialogue with the outsideworld. Wolski continues to examine wide-ranging andsocially topical issues such as the relationship betweenthe individual and one’s habitat, the role of nature as a guardian of human history, and nature’s influence on artistic and philosophical expression in the modern era.
